3 Fort Sill LIVING | Welcome Friends! Welcome to Fort Sill! Whether you are here for the first time or returning to our wonderful community, we are so glad to have you. We are busy planning many exciting programs and events this fall. We want our military members and Families to know that Fort Sill Family and MWR values providing quality of life opportunities that enrich your life while you are stationed here. Autumn provides wonderful opportunities to get outside to enjoy the great weather and colors of fall. The Martha Song Bird Nature Area is especially beautiful this time of year. LETRA, with its family-friendly outdoor activities, is the perfect location for a Fall Break stay-cation. If your family prefers indoor activities, make sure you check out the Twin Oaks Bowling Center, Nye Library, or one of the great museums on and off post. We have a number of great events in the fall such as the LETRA Fall Festival and Oktoberfest at the Patriot Club. As always, we are honored to support the numerous brigade balls and holiday festivities. Our commitment to creating opportunities within our community is enhanced by the many offerings of our neighboring communities. Please check out the area attractions section at the end of this guide for some ideas to get to know our area. Our website, sill.armymwr.com, is a treasure chest of information. It is a great starting place to learn about our high-quality services and programs like our Child Development and School Age Centers which are nationally accredited and provide the best quality of care for our most precious resource, military children. Our focus, when planning activities and events, is about improving the health and wellness of our military member, families and community; it's about creating and sustaining a healthier way of life. With lots to see and do here, we hope you and your family enjoy making Fort Sill your new home. Respectfully, Brenda Spencer-Ragland Director of Family and Morale Welfare and Recreation
