We collect as much information as we can on upcoming Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation events, programs and other activities and excursions we think your family might enjoy. We pack it into one guide each quarter. It's like a one-stop shop where you can figure out which fun things you want to add to your calendar. Fort Sill, alone, is a hidden gem. LETRA. Need we say more? No, but we will. Lake Elmer Recreation Area (LETRA) is the place for outdoor fun. They have an archery range, mini-golf, paintball, hiking, camping, and in the summer they have a swimming beach and waterslide. Did we mention the amazing view? It's nestled in the foothills of the Wichita Mountains. The best part? You never have to leave post. Family and MWR also has a top notch bowling center, with family friendly prices and a snack bar featuring healthy options. We have a Jack Daniel's themed bar located in the Patriot Club. If you're looking for a bar where everyone knows your name, this is it. It's the perfect place to unwind and get ready for a fun weekend. They have free Right Arm Nights, trivia nights and holiday themed events on a regular basis. (Insider Tip: The St. Patrick's Day Celebration begins at 4 p.m. on March 16 in the Jack Daniel's Lounge).
