Fort Sill Family & MWR | January & February 2024 4 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT Fort Sill Family & MWR is happy to feature some wonderful team members! With over 15 years of dedicated service to MWR, Brooke Mullins, the new NAF Support Manager, has a passion for serving Soldiers and Families. Originating from Elgin, Oklahoma, she honed her commitment and professionalism during 8 years at a local grocery store as the Assistant Manager and Office Manager learning from Scott Hayes, ultimately earning a Bachelor's Degree from Camer- on University. Starting as a flex MWR Child and Youth Program As- sistant, she progressed to roles like Youth Sports & Fitness Direc- tor and Youth Center Director. After obtaining a Master's Degree from the University of Oklahoma, she served as Outreach Services Director and Program Operations Specialist. Excited about her new role, she sees it as an extension of her CYS responsibilities, managing budgets, marketing, and IT for Fort Sill Family & MWR. Family plays a significant role in Brooke's life; she is the proud mother of Braisley and Boston and big sister to Chance and Kel- see. Born and raised in Oklahoma as a coaches kid, she settled in Elgin, excelling in basketball and graduating high school in 2001. In her limited free time, Brooke enjoys watching sports, particu- larly supporting her children, OU, OKC Thunder, and the Dallas Cowboys, while cherishing moments with her supportive family. BROOKE MULLINS NAF Support Division Chief ZILPA OSEGUERA ACS Financial Readiness Program Manager Zilpa Oseguera has had the honor of serving the Army Community Service (ACS) for nearly 24 years. Her journey began in ACS while her husband was stationed in Buedingen/Hanau, Germany, allow- ing her to contribute to the community through volunteer efforts in Employment Readiness, where she assisted Military spouses in acquiring computer skills for their professional resumes. Currently, Zilpa holds the position of Army Community Service Financial Readiness Program Manager. With a background in financial education, a Bachelor of Arts, a Master's in Business Ad- ministration, and a certification in Financial Counseling, she finds fulfillment in contributing to the financial well-being and resilience of Soldiers and Families. Zilpa has been married to her college sweetheart, Hector E. Os- eguera (MAJ-Ret), for 27 years. She hails from the beautiful south- ern town of Edinburg, Texas. In her leisure time, she enjoys the outdoors, sightseeing historical places, and exploring the world of antiques. Zilpa recently returned from a 5-year tour in Bavaria, Germany as the Financial Readiness Program Manager, and is excited to continue her work here at Fort Sill.
