3 Fort Sill LIVING | Welcome Friends! Fort Sill is a beautiful military installation and we welcome you to what many consider to be the best installation in the world. Nestled in the foothills of the Wichita Mountains, the charm, history, and natural beauty of Oklahoma will offer you and your family the perfect opportunity to explore and learn about Great Plains Country. We want our Soldiers and families to understand that Family and MWR knows the importance of providing quality of life opportunities while you are stationed at Fort Sill. We recently relocated the Outdoor Recreation Equipment Checkout Center to the Auto Crafts Center and the BOSS program to the Impact Zone to better serve our customers. If your family likes to stay active, there's plenty in store for you here. Fort Sill is a sunny place to live – literally! And many families take full advantage of this with outdoor sports and recreation such as hiking, archery, fishing, tennis and golf. If your family prefers indoor activities, we offer bowling, aerobics, yoga, and a community library. Stop by the historic Patriot Club and check out the Lanyard Bar with a new, branded Jack Daniel's décor. The Lanyard Bar is the first-ever of its kind to open on a military base and is the contemporary essence of the Jack Daniel's brand. We are proud to support the Safe Ride Home program and we invite our Soldiers and families to take advantage of a free ride home from any of our activities where we serve adult beverages. It's one more way we try to show our Solders and families just how much we really do care for them and their well being. We have a number of great events planned for the winter, and I encourage you to visit us at www.sillmwr.com to get the latest update on all we have planned for you to enjoy. With lots to see and do here, we hope you and your family enjoy making Fort Sill your new home. Respectfully, Brenda Spencer-Ragland Director of Family and Morale Welfare and Recreation *No U.S. Army or FCoE Endorsement of Sponsors Intended
