SUMMER READING PROGRAM
Age Group: All ages
May 31 – 6 August
Read to keep skills active, introduce emergeant
readers to the wonder of books, and encourage learning and
exploration. We offer a Summer Reading Program starting
31 May and ending in July, with a chance to pick up prizes
by 6 August. There will be weekly programs for pre-reader
& elementary age kids with stories, crafts, games, and more.
Pre-Reader: Wednesdays, 11am – 12:15pm
K-2
nd
Grade: Wednesdays, 2pm – 3:15pm
3-6
th
Grade: Thursdays, 2pm -3:15pm
Teens and adults may read for prizes throughout the
summer, too! This year's theme = Read By Design! Sign up
online at
https://fortsillnyelibrary.beanstack.org and pick up
your summer reading info bag starting in May. You will
track your reading minutes online; instructions included in
the info bag or ask a staff member for assistance. Prizes will
be awarded every time you reach a reading goal. The final
reading goal for each age group varies!
MOTHER'S DAY CARD WORKSHOP!

If you have a mother, a grandmother, or know any
special mothers in your life, you can show your appreciation
with a unique, heart-felt gift! Spend a little time and
creativity making something personal for all those
exceptional moms in your life.
