3 Fort Sill LIVING | Welcome Friends! Welcome to Fort Sill! Whether you are here for the first time or returning to our wonderful community, we are so glad to have you! We are busy planning many exciting programs and events this fall. We want our Soldiers and Families to know that Fort Sill Family and MWR values providing quality of life opportunities that enrich your life while you are stationed here. Autumn provides wonderful opportunities to get outside to enjoy the great weather and colors of fall. The Martha Song Bird Nature Area is especially beautiful this time of year, and LETRA has some wonderful, family-friendly outdoor activities. Have an adventurous Fall Break by planning a stay-cation at LETRA! You can also discover the natural beauty of Oklahoma with a guided hike in the Wichita Mountains with our Outdoor Adventure Center staff. If your family prefers indoor activities, make sure you check out the Twin Oaks Bowling Center, Nye Library, or one of the great museums on and off post! We have a number of great events in the fall such as our annual Oktoberfest at the Patriot Club and our Family of the Year recognition ceremony at the historic Patriot Club. We are honored to support the numerous brigade balls and holiday festivities. Our Child Development and School Age Centers are nationally accredited, and our staff's number one priority is providing the highest quality of care for our most precious resource, military children. We have some great sports programs for our youth ranging from hip-hop dance classes to American Red Cross swim lessons. Our focus, when planning activities and events, is about improving the health and wellness of our Soldiers, families and community; it's about creating and sustaining a healthier way of life.
